Summary:
Footage of how trainers managed to get horses
to do what the owner pleased showed horrific images of what was happening
behind the scenes. One example was Jackie McConnell’s training methods. He got
horses to walk a certain way by placing chemicals on the horse’s ankles,
causing sores and open wounds. He then would place chains around the wounds to
cause the horse to flinch in the same way they would during the show.
