What I think this quote means is that choosing the
right is the best thing to do, especially speaking the truth because it won't
get you in trouble. You always have the chance to choose the wrong, but
choosing the right will make the situation a million times easier. Lying will
get you in many problems in the long run, that's not the right thing to do. For
example, if you were to lie to your parents, telling them you're at a friend's
house and you're actually at a party, something bad can happen to you and your
parents wouldn't know where to find them.
